I was wondering, does any one else give their rats greenies as treats? My rats love them and they nibble them to death.

I suppose not then,lol.
Greenies are dog chews, that are formulated to combine an irresistable taste with unique dental hygene properties to help freshen breath. They come in differnt sizes and the Petite size is great for rats to chew on.

They look like little toothbrushes. Yikes, trying to brush a rat's teeth would be very hard.

Well, obviously you have more dedication than the rest of us. Though actually I have given my rats tiny bits of toothpaste. We give it to Copper because she makes really weird faces and repeatedly licks the air like she is trying to get the taste off. It is really funny. So one time we decided to give some to Ebony. She likes the minty stuff, but my mother had cinnamon flavored. The second Ebony tasted that she ran around licking anything she could find trying to get the taste off. She still loves the minty stuff though.
(Disclaimer:
She only got it every once in a while becuase toothpaste can be poisonous if ingested in large quantaties)

We found out about becuase we used to have to brush Copper's teeth and we realized she liked the taste, and it was highly entertaining. Now she begs for it when you are trying to brush your teeth. Very Happy
