Babies Reserved

Well, I went to the petstore and reserved two babies. I should get them on Friday. (I did post on Rats Ahoy if you read this) However, this means I will have to put Ebony down on Thursday. I feel so happy and so miserable at the same time. I am looking for names for my new babies. They are both girls. One is agouti with a splotchy white underbelly, the other is a hooded agouti. They are soooo adorable. Can't wait till Friday, but hope Thursday never comes. Sometimes having rats is way to stressful. (Mom thinks I should name them Trauma and Drama) Ah well, that is what having pets is all about.

I am really excited about the new babies. I always forget how tiny baby rats are until I go to the petstore and see them. They make my rats look like monsters. I remember when I got Cheerio and Squirt, Ebony used to chase them around and I used to think Ebony was so evil. Then they all got along and were inseperable. (Of course, even when Cheerio and Squirt grew up, Ebony was always much, much fatter)

lol at least ebony accepted them in the end sam hated aston and ben and they were his own sons ! i think he was jelouse of them dunno why though

I have never had males, but I have heard they usually don't get along.

We tried to put Ebony with Brown Bear and Baby when we got them, but Ebony just got beat up. Ebony was used to being dominant but the new rats were to old. If they were babies, their probably would have been no problem.

Aston and Ben were fine together as they were introduced at a young age though sam preffered to just have my company not a another rat just me aww he loved me !

I really don't have any bad scars. I just always have at least one healing cut. Such as the one healing on my finger from where Baby bit me....

lol She loves you they all love the ones they get fed by lol i have a scar on my little finger a for life scar off aston when i was bathing him he ran up by arm and dug his claw in my finger , another for life scar on my arm off sam when i was putting him back in his cage he tried to climb up my arm he dug his claw in me and i have another for life scar on my shoulder were ben was sitting on my arm and my dog barked and made him jump and he dug his claw in my shoulder so he wouldnt fall so there it is all the rats i have ever had have made a little memorible on me so i will never forget my little babys

I remember Ember, my devil rat, climb up my legs. That was painful. I have a scar on my finger where I got bit by a bunny, and a scar on my palm where I got bit by a monkey. Now that was horrible.

I volunteer at the Virginia Zoo. I am a Keeper Aide. Got bit while feeding the Spider monkeys.

i have no scars yippie (well not for life anyway) but i'll always remember my first rat coz i got her on my eigth birthday and at the same time i got a toy rat even though it didn't look like her (it was purple) it will still remind me of her!!!
