| That's horrible. I know that those are usually marketed for big dogs who have really thick fur because the spikes don't really penitrate thru the fur, but that coller is advertised for small dogs. They don't have fur to protect them. That coller could easily kill the dog. That is horrible! | |

| Now don't take this the wrong way, but the collar looks worse then what it really is. The collar is not for everyday use its for training, and the spikes are made from rubber. I still wouldn't use it though, but I suppose, some small dogs are hard to train and some people feel the need to use them. | |

| though ( also please dont take this the wronge way ) when/if your gonna get a small dog shouldnt you research on them and find out about them before you actually get them as you might want to do obedience with them ECT and well maybe they are hard t o train though then shouldnt a bigger more easir to train dog be for you ? | |

| Ahl, see you think rationally. I find most other people don't. This is why I hate adult who assume becuase we are kids we can't possibly be smarter or more rational. We think of the obvious. Well if you are going to get a dog shouldn't you research it, learn about it, get ready for it, and plan for it, all before we buy the dog. But a lot of adults walk into a petstore and go "cute puppy. we can afford it, lets buy it" and they do. Then when the puppy eats their house and furniture and turns into a monster from lack of obdience they either resort to desperate measures or they give the puppy/juvanial to the animal shelter. I think adults can be awfully stupid sometimes. | |

| I'm still confused But I do agree that people do need to do research on a dog before getting one just based on looks.

| Sorry. I was saying that ®ªTs ®ül€ had a good point about people training their animals. Then I kind of broke into a rant. Again, sorry for the confusion. | |

| The link got broken... From reading what others posted its a pinch training collar.Am I right? I use one of those on my Boston terrier. Its not near as bad as it looks. He was a bad dog before we started traing classes with the pinch. Now he is well behaved. He will do a down stay for up to 15 minutes,he walks well on a leash, sits when he is suppost to,and just a all round good dog.A slidding choke chain is for little bity easy dogs and easy dogs.Pinch is for thick headed dogs like Bostons. At the start of class we learn how to use it right.I dont think people who have no idea should try it.Hope that helps. | |
